About the Author

My name is Sean, and I write about, research, and teach a range of subjects: literature, sports, culture, nostalgia, digital humanities, urban history, immigration, education… and of course biking and nordic skiing. I used to work out of Iowa City, Iowa, but now I’m in a new nabe: Brooklyn, New York (the mightiest of the five boroughs). My primary aim is to have fun while explaining and exploring.
